13km HM course

I had a run this morning- very early even by my standards. I got up at 4.45am (I know, on a Sunday!) and spent a bit of time strapping my knee and ankle then took Bella for a run around a local park. Then I brought her home and drove to the lake, I ran a lap of the lake, came back to the car, ingested a gel, sculled some water and ran into the city along Albert Road/ St Kilda Road. I ran up William Barack bridge and then returned to my car the same way. I was so slow- and I am trying not to concentrate on my pace, but just get some form back at the moment- but when I snuck a look at the pace it was woefully slow.
The gel went down well and I didn't get a stitch or have to find a toilet- bonus. I also felt strong the whole time (though it was only 13km I was running for a long time!). My knee was fine, but my ankle hurt at the start, then the PF took over.
My HR max was 101%- (time to readjust that) and my average was 87%.

After my run I went to the Burnley A/V HM- with Bella. I met Em, JoJo and Supersam and we sat on picnic rugs eating croissants and drinking champagne (or sparkling white shiraz for me) while everyone slogged past us. Steve ran a massive PB which was great, TB had ITB dramas and Stu was just trotting along nicely when we saw him. I had taken my cheerleading duties to a whole new level with painted signs saying "lookin' good" and "run faster"- but I don't think any runner actually saw them.
So after too many drinks before 10am, it was time to go home (though as Em's mum says, "It is noon somewhere!"). What to do with the rest of the day??
